Ellie is a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and her Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Lifestyle Medicine from the University of North Florida. In addition to her strength and conditioning credentials, Ellie is a USA Gymnastics (USAG) Certified Women’s Competitive Gymnastics Coach and Meet Director, bringing a unique perspective to athlete development through years of experience in competitive gymnastics.
Before joining Tork Sports Performance, she coached competitive gymnastics levels 2-10 for almost 10 years, where she had multiple Regional and Eastern National qualifiers. She also assistant coached at a local high school baseball team where she helped train two athletes who were drafted in the 2025 MLB Draft. While finishing her Master’s degree, she completed an exercise science-based internship at Tork where she practiced using evidence-based methods to assess athletes as well as create and modify strength and conditioning programs based on the specific needs of individual athletes. While interning at Tork, she had the opportunity to work with athletes of varying skill levels ranging from middle school to collegiate and professional athletes.
Outside of coaching, Ellie enjoys staying active through strength training, continuing her education in sports performance and health, and being involved in the gymnastics community through coaching. She is passionate about empowering athletes to reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong appreciation for movement, health, and performance.
